Dr. Buoscio was born on  the East Side of Chicago, to Romeo and Mary Buoscio.  He has one sister and two brothers.  He attended St. Francis de Sales grammar and high schools and received his B.A. in Chemistry from Loyola University of Chicago in 1979.  Dr. Joe spent a semester of College at Loyola’s Rome Center in Italy.  He attended the University of Illinois - College of Dentistry and received his DDS degree in 1983.  He opened his own practice in Lansing, IL  in 1984 and moved his practice to Munster, IN in 1993, where he practices today. 


Dr. Buoscio and his wife Roberta have 3 boys, Joey, Alex and Mark.  Dr. Joe is active in his community - he is an Assistantant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop #271 out of Lansing, IL.  He attended the 2010 National Boy Scout Jamboree as the 1st Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 1030.  He was Course Director for the Calumet Council’s National Youth Leadership Course for 2011 and 2012.  His sons Joey, Alex, and Mark have attained the rank of Eagle Scout.  Feel free to ask him about his latest Camp Out.

 

About Dr. Joe

  1. •Dr. Joe enjoys many activities.  He loves to cook and obviously he like to eat. 

  2. •He has been know to dabble in Stain Glass, but time constraints makes that hobby almost impossible.

  3. •He loves the out doors and working with the boy scouts in his troop.  The troop tries to go camping once a month for a weekend and they spend a week in July at Summer Camp. 

  4. •Dr. Joe enjoys photography.  He uses a Canon D20 Digital SLR.  Most of his photos are of his family and his camping experiences. 

  5. •The Buoscio’s are also avid snow skiers and try to get some outdoor winter time together every year.
